About IAPO

We are very pleased to introduce the Irish Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (IAPO) , established on November 12^th 2011.

The formation of this association is an important step in promoting the vital role which these 2 professions have within clinical teams such as Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation.

We hope that you will support our new association and that we can work together positively in the future.

There are currently approximately 40 members of the association, a significant majority of the clinicians in the country.

Mission statement: To raise the professional profile of Prosthetists & Orthotists in Ireland.

Objective: Professional recognition & representation with relevant regulatory bodies & government.
